Oakes uk formed in 1998 as Electrical Engineers who quickly became one of the leading companies for the Retail, Leisure and Hospitality Sectors.

Due to a successful business model and continued annual growth year on year, Oakes uk expanded to become Electrical & Mechanical Contractors in 2018. We continue to lead the way across the UK with a great reputation and significant experience in delivering high quality projects, on time and to budget.

We are a business built on solid values. Our focus on great client service and building strong client relationships is key to what Oakes uk are about. A large proportion of our work is repeat business. We have a client list that includes many of the UK’s best-known organisations across a number of sectors, including: Asda; Applegreen; Burger King; Center Parcs; Gino D’acampo; Lidl; Starbucks; The Co-operative.

We also offer a full in-house MEP Design service and pride ourselves on commitments to Value Engineer schemes for our clients.

Our Estimating & Contract Management teams are dedicated highly skilled professionals who understand the client’s brief and work passionately to deliver a successful project and turn their concepts into reality.

Oakes uk strive to maintain the highest standards for environmental management and sustainability. We work closely with customers to review working practices so that we can reduce any environmental impacts caused by our activities.

Employees are trained in environmental awareness and adopt practices which reduce our waste and carbon footprint, reuse materials where possible and recycle any end products produced through office and site-based activities.

We work with both customers and our supply chain to review changes in specification which can have environmental benefits, extend maintenance life cycles or reduce the environmental impact of maintenance painting works. Changes made are introduced to have long term sustainable benefits for the communities in which we work.
